Liverpool ready-mix plant resumes operations following joint venture between Bridgewater Ready Mix and South Shore Ready Mix (October 17, 2024)

Bridgewater, N.S. - Today, the Liverpool ready-mix plant resumed operations after a decades- long closure, as the result of a new joint venture between Bridgewater Ready Mix and South Shore Ready Mix. Restoring the ready-mix operations in Liverpool has required a significant investment over the 18-month project. It will allow Bridgewater and South Shore Ready Mix to improve service levels and turn-around times for customers in Queen’s County.

Bridgewater Ready Mix launches low-carbon concrete products at grand opening of new modernized plant (September 2023)

Bridgewater, NS – Today, elected officials, customers, suppliers, and the local business community joined Bridgewater Ready Mix to celebrate the grand opening of their new multi-million-dollar ready-mix concrete plant. Work on the new facility began in the fall of 2022, after Bridgewater Ready Mix relocated to allow Michelin to expand its operations in the Bridgewater Industrial Park.

Bridgewater, NS – Today, Bridgewater Ready Mix announced that it has welcomed new ownership, positioning the company for continued success. Joel Westin, who has served as the President of Bridgewater Ready Mix since September 2021, has acquired the company from its previous shareholders. The deal was effective April 30, 2023.
